It's also a good place to get salon services (hair cut, hair coloring, etc) at very good price!!!!

I have heard of this school before. It came up on a conversation about Vietnamese beauty schools selling time. Basically, what do do is they write down the number of hours you completed when you did not actually completed those hours. As long as you pay them, they don't care.

That is why a lot of major hair salons (the well known ones) do not hire Vietnamese hair stylists.

Is EBBC any different? I heard their tuition is pretty high.

EDDC is not like the other Vietnamese beauty school. This is a very high end school that is comparable to Gene Juarez Academy. Although the tuition is not as high but the service and the education is on the same par.

Also, this school is new and very spacious. They just moved to this locatoin a few years ago.

I know first hand that they will not allow the selling of hours. The majority of their students are American born and their students consistently take 1st or 2nd place in annual statewide competitions. They emphasize alot on the business side of cosmetology and help their student establish future goals of establishing their own businesses.

There are a lot of beauty schools down in Seattle China town. Many of time barely more than a oversized salon.

When looking for a good cosmetology school, make sure you do a lot of reasearch, talk to the graduates, and talk to the employers as well. Don't just go for the cheap ones. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This is very true in the beauty school business.

I really don't care to get hair cut or anything with my hair or nail if they can't talk to me. If someone trains at Vietnamese beauty school in Chinatown, I don't think they'll speak/socialize too well in English. I often find it offensive when people who speak other than English talk amongest themselves while I'm standing right there. Good school would teach more than just cutting the hair. It's worth the money you may pay for your education and future.

I know that EBBC teaches their students English as well. They are very good in making sure their student are sufficient in English.

That is why a lot of their graduates are snapped up but well knowned salons.
